Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California) is an actor. She is an actor well-known for her roles in Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film maker born into a large household. She has pursued both professions herself. She made her debut when she was only nine years young in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni In 1988 she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was in the ensemble of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. The following year, she played Nanni Moritti's daughter on screen in Red Wood Pigeon. Her profession took off after she got the part of Nanni's little girl for the film Close Friends. It was a huge success at the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she worked in her first film with her father, the famous Italian horror director Dario Argento her mother is one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search for her parents' killer. Asia's intense, absorbed acting style was used to great effect in the film Condannato a nozze. She played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was an arduous and complicated role that won her the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. She had a feature part as Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. She was a part of Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli in which she was awarded an award from David diDonatello and a Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing in the year 1994. She released two shorts and an episode from the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she directed an documentary on her father. She also produced AbelAsia which was a documentary about the famous director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film as a director was Scarlet Diva where she starred as the lead actress, and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 both in Italy and the rest of world. The Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn, New York awarded it a prize.
